Fuel prices continued to downward trend on the last day of the year. On Monday, the petrol price in Delhi is retailing at Rs 68.84 while diesel is selling at 62.86 per litre.
In Mumbai, petrol is sold at Rs 74.47 per litre and diesel is retailing at Rs 65.76 per litre.
In Noida, the petrol price is now selling at Rs 69.11 per litre and diesel is selling at Rs 62.51 per litre on Monday.

In Chennai, petrol is sold at Rs 71.41, down 20 paise and diesel was selling at Rs 66.35. In Kolkata, petrol price is sold retailing at Rs 70.96 and diesel was selling Rs 64.61 respectively today.
Fuel prices were at their highest rate was recorded in October, when crude oil rates touched $86 per barrel mark. However, soon after rates started to nosedive and international crude rates started dropping.
The dip in prices comes after the US its stand on Iran’s sanctions and allowed eight countries to continue importing oil from Iran temporarily. These countries are India, China, South Korea, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Turkey, and Taiwan.
