Fuel prices increased on Monday agian. After today’s rate amendment, petrol became higher by 14-16 while diesel prices rised up 15-17 paise per litre across major metro cities of the country. In national capital, petrol price rides to Rs 71.57 a litre as against Rs 71.42 on Sunday while diesel price rised to Rs 66.80 per ltr as compared to Rs 66.42 on Sunday.
Peoples in Kolkata have to pay Rs 73.67 for a ltr of petrol following a 15 paise hike over Sunday’s rate. A ltr of diesel priced Rs 68.59 in Kolkata, 16 paise higher than yesterday’s rate of Rs 68.43.
Petrol price in Mumbai was climbed up by 14 paise to Rs 77.20, from Rs 72.06 noted on Sunday. Diesel prices too hiked by 17 paise from yesterday’s rate price of Rs 69.80 a ltr. In Chennai, petrol is retailing at Rs 74.32 a ltr while diesel price was climbed up by 17 paise to Rs 70.59 a litre, according to data from Indian Oil Corporation website.
