Fuel prices were slashed once again on Tuesday by 14 paise and 12 paise, respectively.
In November so far, petrol prices cut by nearly Rs 3 per litre while diesel has become cheaper by nearly Rs 2 per litre.
In the national capital Delhi, petrol was priced at Rs 76.38 while diesel was selling at Rs 71.27 as against yesterday’s rate of Rs 71.39.
In Mumbai, petrol was sold at Rs 81.90 as against yesterday rate Rs 82.04 and diesel was sold at Rs 74.66 compared to Rs 74.79 yesterday.
In Chennai, petrol was priced at Rs 79.31 while diesel was sold at Rs 75.31 per litre.
In Kolkata, petrol was retailing at Rs 78.33/litre and diesel was retailing at Rs 75.31 per litre.
In Bengaluru petrol was sold at Rs 76.99/litre while diesel was retailing at Rs 71.65/litre.
Today, Brent crude futures were trading nearly $66.52 per barrel mark in Asian trade. Demand growth has been lethargic and oil is in oversupply. As a result, crude prices are now nearly 25% lower in the last 40 days.
