Fuel prices were reduced again on Saturday. Today, petrol and diesel rates were cut by 20-35 paise across in all major cities of the country.
In the national capital Delhi, petrol selling at Rs 70.70, down 22 paise per litre compared to Rs 70.92 yesterday and diesel is retailed at Rs 65.30 down by 25 paise.
In Mumbai, petrol is sold at Rs 76.28 per litre to Rs 76.50 on Friday and diesel is selling at Rs 68.32 per litre compared to Rs 68.59 yesterday.
In Kolkata, petrol is sold at Rs 72.75 per litre while diesel is selling at Rs 67.03 per litre. In Chennai, petrol is sold at Rs 73.33 per litre and diesel is selling at Rs 68.93 per litre.
Meanwhile, International crude oil prices fell on Friday. Brent crude oil futures fell below $60 per barrel early in Asian trade and was trading at $59.73 per barrel as of 9.15 am yesterday, down 33 per cents from their last close. It closed at $61.67 on Friday.
