Petrol and diesel prices remained unchanged for the second consecutive day on Wednesday. In the National capital Delhi, petrol is retailed at Rs 68.50 and diesel is priced at Rs 62.24, no change compared to yesterday’s rate.
In Mumbai, petrol is sold at Rs 74.16 while diesel is sold at Rs 65.12 per litre no change compared to yesterday’s price.
In Chennai and Kolkata, petrol is priced at Rs 71.07 per litre and Rs 70.64 per litre. Besides, diesel in two cities is retailing at Rs 65.70 per litre and Rs 64.01 per litre on Wednesday.
It may be noted that international crude oil rates rose today on hopes that Washington and Beijing can resolve a trade dispute that has triggered a global economic slowdown. Brent crude futures were at $59.41 per barrel, up 69 cents, or 1.18% from their previous close while the US crude rates rose above $50 per barrel for the 1st time in 2019.
