Fuel prices were reduced once again on Tuesday by 14 paise and 9 paise, respectively.
In the national capital Delhi, petrol was retailing at Rs 78.42per litre while diesel was sold at Rs 73.07per litre. Petrol was sold at Rs 76.54 and diesel was retailed at Rs 71.24 today after the fifth straight day of revision in prices.
In Mumbai, petrol was retailing at Rs 83.92per litre, down 14 paise while diesel was sold at Rs 76.57 per litre. In Bengaluru, petrol was sold at Rs 79.05 per litre and diesel was selling at Rs 73.46 per litre.
In Chennai, petrol was sold at Rs 81.46 per litre while diesel was selling at Rs 77.24 per litre. In Kolkata, petrol was sold at Rs 80.33per litre while diesel was priced at Rs 74.93 per litre.
In the last 19th day, the petrol price has been dropped by more Rs 4 per litre and diesel by over Rs 2.50. On Sunday, the petrol price was cut by 21 paise a litre and diesel cut by 17 paise, according to Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL) data.
