Balasore: Delhi police with the help of Mumbai police detained an Odia man from Mumbai for gold coins theft valued Rs 4 L from a jewellery shop in Dehli.
The accused was identified as Kashinath a 22-year-old youth named Mallick from Rimei village was working in a jewellery store of one Niraj Jain in Delhi.
On 2nd July, he stole the gold coins and gone to his village. He later visited to Mumbai and worked thereby changing his real name.
According to the Sources, Kashinath had made a fake Facebook account but uploaded his real picture that aided the police to trace his location. The Delhi police later detained the youth from Mumbai.
Yesterday, the police went to Kashinath’s village and seized the stolen gold coins from his residence.
