The police arrested three burgles who had robbed a house in Sector 42 in December. The accused identified as Harsh Kumar (23), Sushil Kumar (34) and Manish (24), all natives of Uttar Pradesh (UP).

Ram Lal Jindal of Sector 42, told the police that he, along with his family had gone to Rajasthan on 22 December. On 30 December, he returned home and found that the locks of the front door broken and the entire house looted.

Police said valuables, including two watches, 2 laptops and artificial jewellery, were stolen from the house.

The police registered a complaint against criminals. Sushil had 4 cases lodged against him in Ghaziabad district and Harsh had two crime cases registered against him in Meerut.

During the questioning, it was revealed that the accused used to visit Chandigarh to commit thefts. They used to stay in guesthouses and look for locked houses during the hours of daylight and later commit burglaries at those locked houses.
