VIJAYAWADA: Unknown miscreants looted Rs 2L in cash, gold and silver made ornaments from Sai Baba temple in the Gampalagudem on Saturday late night.
When priest opened temple on Sunday morning, he noticed that donation box was opened and cash, and gold and silver ornaments were missing.
The priest said criminals decamped with the cash and other offerings including gold and silver made ornaments leaving coins behind.
Temple trust board chairman Mr. Naga Raju has filed a police complaint. An investigation is on underway.
