New Delhi: The Customs department on Monday 24 February seized 2 gold bars almost valued Rs 26.52 lakh at the IGI Airport from two Indian women passengers. The 2 females were coming from Bangkok.
The yellow metal was hidden inside rectum of two women in paste form. “On personal search, yellow metal in the form of paste was recovered from their rectum. On extraction, 725 grams of yellow metal worth about Rs 26.52 lakh was seized under Customs Act. Both the females have been arrested.
