Hyderabad: A 39-year-old woman, who trained her two sons in committing robbery offences since their early youth, has been arrested by police on Friday. Her two sons aged 18 year and 20 year have committed 33 robbing offences by removing kitchen window grills of houses and stole gold, silver and cash.
Police recovered 1.65 kg gold and 80 tola silver ornaments, a Pulsar bike, a Honda Accord car and LCD TV sets, whose total worth is about Rs 75 lakh.
The accused have been identified as Syed Mohammad, Syed Sahil and their mother Sana Begum, TRS party Mahila wing leader. All the suspects are residents of Shaheen Nagar, Chandrayangutta. The receiver Mohd. Nooruddin was also arrested in linking with the case.
On Friday, Hyderabad Police said that the mother Sana Begum has trained her two children, Since March 2015, the accused Syed Mohammed and Syed Sahil started committing house robberies in Hyderabad and Cyberabad limits.
There is no illegal record being maintained on the accused. A few months ago, the trio started leading lavish lifestyle and expenditure a huge amount for celebrating parties and travelling in luxurious cars. The sleuths received tip-off.
Syed Mohammed and Syed Sahil did watch and select houses in high profile colonies during the daytime. During the night hours, they would enter the houses. They used to deposit the stolen loot with their mother. Later, the trio would approach one Mohammed Nooriddin and place of the stolen loot.
The police said, the accused committed robberies in Golconda police limits, Banjara Hills, Langerhouz, Asifnagar, Humayun Nagar and two cases in Narsingi. With the police installing CCTVs in some areas, the accused selected to work into houses from the backside.
