Rajkot: Police nabbed three persons and jewellery, cash, 5 two-wheelers, all valued at Rs 3.76 lakh were recovered from Kuwadawa Road in Rajkot on Sunday.
The arrested accused identified as Jagdish Thakur (49), Prakash Kushwaha (42) and Sanjay Oli (50), all natives of Indore in Madhya Pradesh.
The three accused were involved in 15 robbery cases which included house crime and vehicle robberies reported from Bharuch, Ankleshwar, Botad, Limbdi Sayla, Navsari, Valsad, Vapi and Surendranagar.
They steal vehicles from a village or town near a big city, then put up themselves in a guest house in the city or near it and carry out recce before committing the robbery.
In 2017, Jagdish and Sanjay were arrested in a robbery case by Rajkot crime branch.
Police had received a clue that the duo had returned to Rajkot to commit robbery. Then kept a watch and arrested them from the guest house where they had put up, said police.
