HYDERABAD: Three thieves and a property receiver were repeat criminals, were arrested by Hyderabad police at Secunderabad railway station. Loots worth Rs 1.05 crore was seized from them.
Police said that N Narendra Naik, P Srinivas, K Satish and stolen gold receiver K Sudheer Kumar Reddy were nabbed.
Hyderabad police had appealed the Preventive Detention Act against Satish in 2016. In 2017, when Satish, Narendra and Srinivas were in prison and they decided to form a gang.
After coming out of prison, they started committing break-ins again. They were involved in break-ins in Banjara Hills, Nellore and Chennai.
Satish used to find upmarket areas and closed houses. He used to enter the houses by removing window pins. Narendra used to attend him and P Srinivas usually stood anywhere close to keeping an eye on the surrounds. As of now, there are seven non-bailable permits undecided against Satish.
The accused were arrested at Secunderabad station and they were on their way to Mumbai to sell the stolen stuff, which includes platinum, gold jewellery and diamonds.
