Rs 40 Lac & Gold Jewellery Stolen from Teacher’s Residence


AGRA: In the preceding night of Tuesday & Wednesday a burglary incident took place in Krishna bagh coloney in Awadhpuri area under Jagdispura police jurisdiction of Agra city.

The incident took place in sunil gautam’s house who presently runs a construction business & was formerly a primary school teacher by his watchman who ran away with RS 40 lac cash & 600 gm gold jwellery.

Speaking to TOI the victim said that “the watchman was hired from a pvt. Security co. 3 days back since he had to travel to Nagarkot for a family function, on Wednesday morning at 2:30 am his another servant pawan informed him about the Dacoity & reported that the watchman was missing.

He further informed that “since there is no CCTV in the vicinity of Krishna bagh no one saw who was involved in the burglary along with the guard. He also said that his another servant pawan who lives on his another property ryt in front of the place where incident took place got up at 2:30 am when he saw the doors of the house were opened & watchman was missing. The guard was named subodh pandey.

Mr. Gautam believes that since the guard was new there are possibilities of involvement of some other person.

Parvesh Kumar, station house officer of Jagdispura reported that “the victim has claimed over 40 lac & 600gm gold missing from the house”.

He also informed that an FIR has been lodged in the police station and forensic team has collected the finger print samples to trace the guard.
