Gold Bars worth nearly Rs 3 Cr were recovered from a washroom of Indira Gandhi international airport (IGI) by CISF in an unattended laptop bag. the gold bars are 9 in numbers.
According to Central Industrial Security Force officials, the recovery occurred around 11.55pm on the night of Wednesday, after the surveillance and intelligence team received a information.

Laptop bag with gold bars was Found in a men’s washroom near the international transfer area at Terminal-3. officials recovered 9 gold bars each is of 1 kg and all are handed over to Customs department.
According to the officials, the bag was left behind by a person to be picked up by another for the cause of smuggling. CCTV footage will be studied further to arrest the passenger.
