Robbers posing as buyers looted shop

Jamshedpur: On Saturday Uliyan in Kadma A gang of five armed peoples had stolen the jewellery from a shop and shot at its owner, they had entered the store Acting as customers.

The owner Partha Nayak about 40 years old, admitted to Tata Main Hospital, he is out of danger but the five gang members are still at large.

According to Partha Nayak, five men on 2 two-wheelers had come to Mahalaxmi Jewellers around 8.25pm. One of them asked him to show a gold chain that he wanted to purchase. he said when I went to bring out the gold chains, 2 men dragged down the shutters of the store while another one takes out a pistol from his pocket. the thieves wanted the key to the iron chest. Two of them started stolen gold valuables from the shelves. When I complained, one of them shot at my leg.

when some passers-by suspected something was not good inside the shop, but before a crowd could gather near the shop, the gang raised the shutter and sped away on bikes.
