Miscreants snatched a 50-gram gold necklace from a woman


Mysuru: The incident happened in the afternoon near Shivananda School. Criminals snatched a 50gm  gold necklace from a woman on Oct.31

The victim is Kaushalya, (34), wife of Hebbal resident Srinivas, who was walking home from a shop near her house at Hebbal.

She had gone to a shop and was returning about 2.30 pm when miscreants came on a motorbike snatched the chain and fled.

The Police have registered a case. they reached the spot and starting an investigation.

In another case that happened in daylight on the same day, miscreants broke the glass of a car on Oct.31 and escaped with Rs.2.90 lakh belonging to an industrialist.

The incident happened near HDFC Bank in VV Mohalla and the victim is Shekar son of Narayan, a resident of Gokulam, 3rd Phase. When he came out of the bank and he found the glass window of the car broken.

Then he saw that the bag containing the money had been stolen. Immediately he lodged a complaint at the police station.

Shekar who runs a petrol bunk in K.R. Nagar had withdrawn Rs. 4 lakh from Vijaya Bank in Gokulam and kept it inside his car. Then he left Rs.2.90 lakh money in the dashboard after parking it in front of Bank on Temple Road and went inside the bank with the remaining cash.

Police reached the spot and conducting an investigation and are checking footage in the CCTV cameras.
