Peoples are already dealing a problem of shortage of currency now one different news is coming from Assam’s Tinsukia district where rats allegedly shredded notes worth Rs 12 lakh inside a State Bank of India (SBI) ATM.

The ATM was shut down due to the technical problem since May 20, then the complaint was filed that the ATM is not functioning after some days on June 11, when some repairmen come to repair they were shocked when they found 500 and 2,000 rupee notes shredded into tiny pieces.

The case was detected by bank officials after locals complained that the ATM was faulty and had stopped dispensing cash.
