PUNE: On Monday A 24-year-old man was detained for burglary at a department store on Tilak Road on 24 May.
The cops recovered some cash, silver and gold coins together valued Rs 57,000 from him and found out he was elaborate in seven other thefts in the city. The suspect is identified as Deepak Krishna Katum, from Assam.
According to police, the suspect decamped with cash, silver and gold coins, together valued Rs2.29 lakh, from the department store. police got the information that a man be located in near the Pune railway station was involved in the burglary.
During interrogation, he confesses his involvement in the theft.
