PUNE: On Thursday, a lawyer from Moshi Pradhikaran lodged a FIR with MIDC Bhosari police stating that unknown person(s) broke into her residence and fled with gold ornaments and cash together valued Rs 3 lakh.
The theft happened on Thursday when complainant had gone for Rakshbandhan to her sister-in-law Suman Kisan Shinde’s residence at Ausari Khurd village. The theft came to known in the evening when the lawyer Harshada Karale of Gita Vihara Apartments, Santnagar in Moshi Pradhikaran and her family members returned residence.
The police said that the suspect had entered into the Karale’s flat by breaking window grills. They broke the doors of cupboard in the bedroom and stole precious gold ornaments including bangles, necklace, rigs, ear rings and Rs 25,000 altogether valued Rs three lakh. “on Thursday night, Karale lodged a FIR with police,” said a police officer Police.
The officer said that police are searching whether there were security guards and the CCTV cameras in the plaintiff’s building. police will also check footages from CCTV cameras in neighboring establishments to trace suspects,” the officer said.
