Customs officials on Tuesday arrested four persons, including an Air India SATS employee at the Delhi airport for allegedly trying to smuggle gold worth around Rs. 63 lakhs.

Officials said that a person was intercepted after his arrival from Dubai. A detailed personal and luggage checking of the passenger and seized two gold bars of 1 kg each.
the accused was supposed to hand over the gold to two others, who had arrived from Kochi, in involvement with the Air India SATS staff, officials said.
The market price of the seized gold bars worth Rs. 63.26 lakh and adding that four persons including an employee of Air India SATS were arrested.
Officials said they arrested four other men, including another Air India SATS staff for smuggling gold worth around Rs. 95 lakhs.
