Mumbai: The police arrested four persons at Vasai railway station for allegedly trying to the robbery of gold ornaments worth Rs.44 lakh from a trader on Tuesday.
According to the railway police (sept.29), the alleged theft took place unbiased as Vasai based trader was about to board a train to Kakinada town.

The railway police said that three men standing at the door of the train attacked him and snatched a bag containing the gold ornaments and fled.
During the examination, the police found the stealing had been supposedly planned and composed by Harish Rawal( 35), from Virar also a gold trader.
The CCTV had captured the image of the suspects while they were keeping a watch on the victim and the police identified the thieves. On Tuesday, the police arrested trio from their homes in Virar.
The police added that 1.4kg gold stolen from the Vaishnav was stored at Rawal’s shop in Zaveri Bazar.
The police also looking for three other men who had been keeping a watch on the victim for the past 2 weeks.
