Cash, jewellery stolen from 2 houses


KaithalOn Monday Burgles struck at two residences in HUDA’s Sector 19 here and escaped with jewellery worth lakhs of rupees. Neighbours saw the broken locks and knowledgeable the house owners. On getting the info about the burglary, the police and a team of the crime branch reached the location.

According to the information, the police had registered cases against unknown persons and started enquiry. police said, the robs stole only valuable jewellery ornaments items and did not touch any other articles.

Jitender Kumar, an inhabitant of Chandana village, in his report to the police held that he had left for his native village on 19 August. On Monday On reaching here, he found that locks of his house broken and ornaments worth Rs 3 lakh and around Rs 30,000 was missing.

In the second occurrence, Dev Raj of Ambala in his report to the police told that he was living at a rented housing in HUDA’s Sector 19 here and gone for Ambala on 19 August . On 20 August , he came to know that steals struck at his residence and took away eight tolas of gold valueables and Rs 15,000.
