Nashik: 2 chain-snatching cases were reported in areas of Mumbai Naka police station on Wednesday.
In the first case, woman was robbed of her gold chain worth Rs 40,000 on Ravi Shankar Marg. According to police, victim Khushbu Alkesh Bachchhav was walking home around 8.55pm on Wednesday when 2 bike-borne men snatched her chain. By time she raised an alarm, suspects had already fled.
In the 2nd case, Shweta Kisne a resident of Ahmednagar currently residing at her relative’s place in Nashik, was going towards a medical store in Ashoka Marg — close to place where 1st chain snatching occurred. Just when she crossed Bank of Maharashtra, a biker snatched her gold chain valued Rs 30,000.
