Believed to be the oldest multi-page book in the world, about 660 BC, the precious Etruscan Gold Book was discovered 70 years back whilst digging a canal off the Strouma river located in Bulgaria.

The book is made from 6 sheets which are made of 24 carat gold, bound together with rings and The precious plates are written in Etruscan characters, and also depicted is a horse, a Siren, a lyre, horseman, and soldiers. The book was given to Bulgaria’s National History Museum loacted Sofia, by an unidentified 87-year-old donor.
